11 human traffickers arrested. 34 individuals rescued, including 32 minors. These operations took place during 6 coordinated raids alongside local police, resulting in 4 establishments being permanently shut down. Survivors are now receiving restorative care and legal advocacy as they begin the long road toward healing and freedom. Thousands of people in the Remedy Drive community help fund this ongoing work, and today we’re celebrating alongside one of our partner teams in Asia.
We intentionally keep the names and exact locations of our partner teams vague in order to protect survivors, investigators, and the ongoing work of our broader network of investigative teams supported by Daylight United.

DAYLIGHT UNITED ASSISTS SURVIVORS ESCAPING FORCED LABOR COMPOUNDS WHILE ACTIVELY WORKING TO DISRUPT AND DISMANTLE THE CRIMINAL NETWORKS THAT OPERATE THEM
FEBRUARY 5, 2026 UPDATE
Our team has been working around the clock assisting victims of human trafficking who are escaping prison-like forced labor compounds across Southeast Asia. Many of these individuals have endured torture and severe abuse at the hands of criminal syndicates that hold them against their will — forcing them into cyber-scam slavery under threats of violence against them and their families.
In recent months, thousands have escaped a growing network of forced labor compounds, seizing brief windows of opportunity created by instability within the criminal organizations — including attempts to relocate victims, key arrests, law enforcement raids, and rumors of impending crackdowns. Some of these courageous escapees have staged riots and broken out of the compounds, fleeing for their lives through jungles and down mountains, often sleeping in ditches, while hiding from gang members seeking to re-kidnap them.
Daylight United has been actively involved in gathering intelligence on these trafficking networks, both externally and through trusted sources inside some of the compounds. We have helped connect escapees to temporary shelter, worked alongside embassies from around the world to secure emergency travel documents for victims whose passports were confiscated, and provided local and international transportation to bring survivors to safety.

THOUSANDS ESCAPE TRAFFICKING | MULTIPLE Traffickers Arrested
JANUARY 20, 2026 UPDATE
Thousands of survivors of human trafficking have escaped their captors from scamming compounds across Asia in the last few days. We are aware of at least 10 compounds where victims have fled, running through forests, down mountains, and even swimming across rivers to escape horrific, prison-like facilities. These survivors are incredibly brave and should be honored for seizing this moment, as mounting international pressure has led to the arrest of several high-ranking traffickers. But their freedom is fragile. Many are now hiding in ditches and remote areas, terrified of being re-trafficked or kidnapped again.
Daylight United has stepped in to help connect survivors with immediate care and protection. We are working in partnership with multiple teams and organizations and have been operating around the clock over the last several days to find safe support for those who have escaped. The scale of this humanitarian crisis has forced us to rapidly expand our network, as many of the places we financially support are already at capacity.
This moment is deeply hopeful: over the past six months, our team has invested significant time and effort into exposing these compounds and gathering evidence alongside partners, often in heavily guarded and remote locations. While we celebrate these escapes, the work ahead is enormous—bringing survivors to safety, ensuring long-term aftercare, and, where possible, helping reunite them with their families in the way that best supports their healing.
We are careful to withhold specific details about cases like this to protect the survivors and to prevent potential repercussions from trafficking networks, cartels, or other criminal organizations connected to this work.
For safety and operational security, we can’t share every rescue operation that Daylight United contributes to.
For now, these are the ones we can celebrate.

4 teenagers rescued | tw0 traffickers arrested
feb 22, 2026 UPDATE
We recently provided funding to our international partners for a coordinated rescue operation conducted alongside the National Bureau of Investigation – Human Trafficking and Related Crimes Division (NBI-HTRAD), resulting in the arrest of a local facilitator and a European national and the freedom of four teenagers.
Simultaneous rescue operations successfully located and recovered four identified victims, who were immediately placed under protective custody and provided assistance by local social welfare offices. The operation was carried out in partnership with government agencies and NGO collaborators, including Daylight United, demonstrating the impact of coordinated action in combating online child exploitation and safeguarding vulnerable children.
We are grateful to have supported this operation. While much of the exploitative material in cases like this is produced in the region where the rescue occurred, a significant portion of it is consumed in the United States — underscoring the shared responsibility to confront demand and protect vulnerable children wherever they live.

25 survivors Rescued | 10 Traffickers Arrested
DECEMBER 6, 2025 UPDATE
Across seven coordinated operations with international law-enforcement partners—including teams in Europe—Daylight United helped make rescue missions possible by providing the financial support needed on the ground. This support allowed investigators to follow key leads, teams to respond quickly, and survivors to receive immediate care such as transportation, food, and essential supplies, along with ongoing aftercare and legal assistance.
Because of these combined efforts, seven cases led to the arrest of 10 human traffickers and, most importantly, the freedom and safety of 25 survivors.

11 Traffickers Arrested | 38 survivors Rescued
NOVEMBER 23, 2025 UPDATE
We supported a series of eight coordinated operations targeting organized criminal groups, along with the investigative work that made those missions possible.
Several of these operations exposed trafficking networks disguised as legitimate businesses. In one case, well over two dozen women and girls were brought out of exploitation from a commercial location. In another, authorities shut down a secluded site where minors were being abused.
We've seen that these targeted actions are able to disrupt the systems that allow trafficking to thrive and it's why we're supporting this parner team in this ongoing work.
From these collective efforts:
• 38 survivors were brought to safety
• 8 minors were removed from harmful situations
• 11 traffickers were taken into custody
We are careful to withhold specific details about cases like this to protect the survivors and to prevent potential repercussions from trafficking networks, cartels, or other criminal organizations connected to this work. Daylight United is able to provide critical funding and support both in the U.S. and around the world, while keeping Remedy Drive out of direct danger—a reality we’ve faced in the past when specific case details were reported too openly.
4 CHILDREN RESCUED | TRAFFICKER ARRESTED |November 7, 2025
Daylight United assisted in the rescue of four children from human trafficking following an online investigation. The operation was conducted by a trusted partner team and the counter-trafficking division of the federal police — teams we have deployed with and worked alongside in the past. Daylight United provided financial support for the operation, while our partner team confirmed the intelligence and worked with local social services to ensure continued care for the children.
6 CHILDREN RESCUED | TRAFFICKER ARRESTED | OCTOBER 27, 2025
Six minors, the youngest just two years old, were rescued from human trafficking, and the suspect responsible was taken into custody. Daylight United provided assistance to a partner team that must remain anonymous for operational security — to protect survivors and the frontline operatives involved. Through this partnership, we helped provide transportation, essential supplies, and access to counseling and legal care for the children and their families.
2 girls and 1 Boy Rescued | OCTOBER 22, 2025
We helped fund the rescue of three children, ages three to ten, in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies and investigative teams.
A national anti-human trafficking unit in Asia received a referral from a European law enforcement agency regarding an individual reportedly involved in the abuse and exploitation of children. In response, the Asian anti-trafficking unit launched an investigation to identify and locate the suspects.
A partner team—supported financially by Daylight United, Remedy Drive’s counter-trafficking initiative, and with whom I’ve spent time in-country on investigative work in the past—worked alongside law enforcement to validate leads, facilitate interagency communication, and provide logistical and field assistance during the operations.
Daylight United’s support contributed to the successful rescue and freedom of multiple children, ranging in age from three to ten. The partner team also assisted in providing care and essential support for the victims following the operation. Multiple traffickers were arrested.
2 Traffickers Arrested | 3 Boys Rescued
OCTOBER 3, 2025
David Zach and Daylight United recently participated in a sting operation, gathering intelligence on a trafficker from Europe. He worked alongside teams from multiple countries, as well as regional anti–human trafficking law enforcement, to build a case that would dismantle a dangerous network.
During the operation, David spent several hours face-to-face with the leader of the trafficking network—an individual who drugs children and sells them to foreigners. The team stayed in character throughout, listening as the trafficker casually discussed other criminal endeavors. They had built an elaborate backstory to gain his trust, requiring precise coordination and focus to ensure the operation’s success.
This mission was particularly unique, as David was the oldest member of the team. Many of the operatives were in their twenties, representing international organizations working alongside local law enforcement to gather critical evidence that would prevent the trafficker and his network from harming more children.
For most of the team, this was their only interaction together, and they knew one another only by aliases. After completing the operation, the team gathered at a safe house to debrief, reflect on the mission, and hope that the intelligence collected would be sufficient to hold the traffickers accountable.
The operation is a powerful example of the bonds formed in moments of shared risk, shared mission, and the understanding that their work directly impacts the freedom and safety of vulnerable children.
While additional details about this raid may be shared later, we remain careful to protect both our families and the organization from potential threats, a reality they have faced following previous operations. The case is ongoing, with prosecution set to begin soon.
The moment the trafficker was arrested—handcuffed and taken into custody—was profoundly moving. This success represents not only the courage and dedication of the front-line teams involved, but also the generosity of Daylight United supporters, whose contributions make this work possible.
8 Survivors Rescued | 3 Traffickers Arrested
Eight survivors—including six minors—have been rescued through the efforts of a field team financially supported by Remedy Drive and Daylight United. The six children have been welcomed into the loving care of our partners in Asia, who specialize in survivor-informed care and therapy. All survivors receive free legal support.

We also take special care to protect the location of survivors receiving aftercare, which is funded in part by contributions from Daylight United supporters.
5 CHILDREN Rescued | 3 TRAFFICKERS ARRESTED JUNE 6, 2025
A national anti-human trafficking unit received a formal request for assistance from a foreign law enforcement agency regarding the abuse and exploitation of children.
In response, a partner team in Asia—supported financially by Daylight United, Remedy Drive’s counter-trafficking initiative, and with whom we work closely—provided operational and investigative support throughout the case, helping to validate intelligence, coordinate in the field, and support the overall mission.
Thanks to this collaboration, five children, ages four to thirteen, were rescued and three traffickers were arrested. Daylight United’s support also helped ensure the children received immediate care and safety, including transportation, welfare support, and coordination for legal processes, before they were transitioned to a receiving shelter.
14 Survivors Rescued | 1 Trafficker Arrested May 2025
Fourteen survivors—including five minors—have been rescued through the efforts of a field team financially supported by Remedy Drive and Daylight United. In partnership with local authorities, this team shut down a venue involved in the commercial sexual exploitation of young girls in Southeast Asia.
Each child was welcomed into a trusted aftercare home and received trauma-informed care. Adult survivors were provided emergency support through local social-service partners and are now entering a partner organization’s job training program. One trafficker has been charged, and the team’s legal staff is advocating for every survivor free of charge until justice is served.
We are careful not to publicize specific details—including country names and partner identities—to avoid liability or retaliation from trafficking networks and criminal organizations.
