Remedy Drive is a rock and roll band with roots in Nebraska.  For the last eight years, the band has been using music to shine a light on human trafficking by creating a trilogy of counter-trafficking-themed albums:  Commodity in 2014, The North Star in 2017, and Imago Amor in 2021.

Remedy Drive aligned the band with a counter-trafficking organization called The Exodus Road in 2014.  David Zach volunteers with the organization by participating in sting operations, using covert gear to capture evidence of trafficking, and partnering with authorities to dismantle the criminal networks responsible for this misery.  These efforts have resulted in the freedom of over 1500 survivors of trafficking and the arrests of over 800 traffickers.  The Remedy Drive fan base has generously contributed to help fund spy gear and other costs that go into rescue operations.

Remedy Drive produces all its merchandise (t-shirts, kimonos, jewelry, and accessories) by organizations that help restore and rehabilitate survivors of trafficking.  The central theme of the band’s music is that ordinary human beings can step into extraordinary roles in the arena of freedom and justice.

Since its inception, Remedy Drive has garnered 12 Top 20 singles and released 12 critically acclaimed recordings.  The band’s songs have over 8 million streams online.

Remedy Drive songs have been used by NBC, SpeedTV, and VH1, as well as Middle Tennessee Hyundai Dealers’ Music That Drives promotion.  The band’s song “Daylight” was featured in the film “The Perfect Summer.  “Hope” was used in a 2009 Winter Olympic commercial.  “Stand Up” was used in the trailer for the Chasing Mavericks film starring Gerard Butler and on game days in the Green Bay Packer’s stadium.

Remedy Drive’s song Lovely from the 2021 album Imago Amor won the first-place Golden Microphone Award from the Human Freedom Music Awards in 2022.  This award came with a grant to combat trafficking through music.  Contest judges included members of One Republic, Switchfoot, and producers Mike Elizondo and Charlie Peacock.

Remedy Drive’s song Dragons from the album Imago Amor won the Alt-Rock Song of the Year award at the 2022 Grizzly Awards.
